We wrote s our own similes because we read a book called 'Jason's extraordinary hair' witch had lots similes in it. A simile is a type of figurative language.

Diwali 2017

Diwali is a festival of lights and it is the celebration of new year. it is India's most inportent celebration.
it gives a two week holiday to every one. one one of theses days every body sweeps away all the bad luck and open all doors and windows. it is also a Hindu celebration.
facts:
1. It is celebrated on the 23 of October.
2. Diwali is a also a big shopping festival
3. It takes 40-43 seconds to put on.
4. It is called a sari.
5. The bells that are on the feet are so heavy the bells are 7kg
The performance was AWESOME!! it took about 30-60 minutes.

The characters in this were…

Marion/Gran. Strong and funny but doesn't trust modern technology. She is lonely and just wants to have a good conversation with her distracted family.

Joe grumpy and doesn't like doing work addicted to gaming and worshipping his favourite celebrity.

Chris/Dad kind and busy who is  worried about debt.spends too much time on his work phone.

Liz/Mum addicted to online shopping and wants more attention from her husband and worried about her distracted kids.

Scratch/Family Dog craves attention, loves tickles and playing dead. She is able to talk in minecraft.

Alex Sarcastic sister obsessed with social media she bullies to cover her loneliness.

Witches 3 of them reluctantly they work for the ender dragon.

Notch good glitch one of the creators of minecraft good glitch keeps an eye on his evil cousin and helps to battle the baddies.

Ender dragon power hungry uses mind control through the internet gatekeepers  to make people do what he or she wants.

Iron golem simple and friendly he is jobless now his villagers have been zombified.

Herobrine bad glitch spy for the ender dragon and evil cousin of notch he was good now he's on the bad side.

Wither Oily propaganda manager and social media manager.

Hi my name is jeff I am a giraffe and I high dive for entertainment for the swimming pools. It is fun but people say mean things and I don’t like it. But luckily I signed my friends up for it so i’m not alone but they fake being sick a lot of the time.

It is annoying but I can’t complain I started in 2016 april 25.

It was fun I got trained and all that then I put on shows at the swimming pools.
